From Kamakura Station to Fujisawa, here's where to get off and walk, and where to just watch the coast go by β an eight-stop Enoden route, plus crossing etiquette at the famous photo spot.
Kamakura's real charm isn't any single temple or viewpoint β it's the Enoden line stitching them together. One moment the tram is squeezing through a narrow residential lane, the next the sea opens up outside the window, and that shift in scenery tends to stick with you longer than any single photo.
This list follows the line in order, from Kamakura Station down toward Enoshima and Fujisawa. You don't need to get off at every stop β pick three or four that call to you today and let the rest pass by as scenery.

Kamakura Station
This is where the Enoden trip begins. Arrive by JR from Tokyo and transfer straight onto the tram, or spend the morning around Komachi-dori and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu first and save the tram ride for the afternoon. If you're planning to hop on and off all day, grab a one-day pass and handle food and restrooms here before you head out.

Wadazuka Station Backstreets
Less a sight than a neighborhood β this is where Kamakura residents actually live. Low houses and small shops line the lanes, offering a break from the temple circuit. If your schedule has any slack, it's worth getting off for just one stop and walking through.

Hase Station
Nearly every first-time visitor to Kamakura ends up here. Both the Great Buddha at Kotoku-in and Hase-dera are walkable from the station, and the surrounding streets are packed with cafΓ©s and souvenir shops. The station gets crowded in peak season, so give yourself more time to browse than to photograph.
