A café route tracing from Gyeongam-dong's railroad village through Jungang-dong toward Jjaebo Pier.
A route that includes an uphill stretch or a photo-famous landmark tends to hinge more on stamina and wait times than the distance on a map suggests. Gunsan's key areas, the Modern History Museum and Wolmyeong-dong, the Gyeongam-dong railroad village, Eunpa Lake Park, and Bieung Harbor, point in different directions, making it hard to combine an old-town walk with an outlying drive in one loop.
It helps to split the day into a morning and afternoon zone rather than trying to connect everything, and to decide in advance when in the day a café stop fits best. If a cable car or museum with set hours is part of the plan, check those hours first.
