From Mallipo to Yeongmok Harbor, timing your ride around tides and sunset makes the West Sea coast far easier to enjoy
The Taean Peninsula and Anmyeondo aren't one straight coastline β they're a repeating pattern of bays, headlands, beaches, and harbors. The northern scenery around Mallipo and Sindu-ri, the long beaches at Mongsanpo and Cheongpodae, the calmer eastern waters near Anmyeonam Temple, and the southern views at Kkotji and Yeongmok Harbor each have their own character, so splitting the ride into zones saves both time and legs compared to chaining the whole peninsula together.
This list runs the stops in order from north Taean down to the southern tip of Anmyeondo. Dunes, arboretums, temples, and overlooks are places to lock up and walk, not ride through β checking the tide and sunset time before you leave will get you a much better read on this coast's particular light.
