The safest bet for a first Hong Kong trip — the Star Ferry, Harbour City, and K11 MUSEA are all walkable, filling both day and night. Prices run high and crowds are heavy, so if you want quiet, look for a hotel set one block back from the main strip.

Worth considering if you want most of Central's convenience at a slightly lower rate. Man Mo Temple, mood cafés, and PMQ are all close by, making morning and evening walks genuinely enjoyable, plus you get more local alley character. Some lanes are steep, so if you're traveling with a large suitcase, check the actual route between your hotel and the station beforehand.
