Hands-on program hours shift, so confirm the schedule through official channels before you go. A short break at the museum café mid-visit makes the rest of the day easier to pace.

The remains of the old kilns where clay was shaped and fired are still visible here. Walking the site after the museum connects the finished pieces on display to the place they actually came from. Lean into the outdoor walk on a clear day, or weight your time toward the museum's indoor galleries if it's raining.
